Alesis Nitro Kit | Electronic Drum Set with 8" Snare, 8" Toms, and 10" Cymbals

The Alesis Nitro is a complete 8-piece electronic drum kit that includes everything you need to play like a pro. It features three dynamic 8” tom pads, a 8” dual-zone snare drum for great feel and natural response, plus a kick drum pad with pedal. Three 10” cymbals, including a crash with choke, give you a virtually unlimited range of playing expression and the 4-post aluminium mounting rack keeps everything solid and secure. The setup also includes the powerful Nitro electronic drum module with hundreds of percussion sounds, 40 different kits and 60 built-in play-along tracks. Frequently Asked Questions Can the Nitro drum module connect to a computer? There is a USB/MIDI connection for use with virtual instruments and recording software. It is class-compliant which means that it will work with any modern Mac or PC without the need to download any software or drivers. Also, it features MIDI In and Out ports for connecting directly to standalone MIDI gear. Both connections allow for the passing of MIDI information only. Can I adjust the levels of the play-along tracks? The included play-along tracks can be adjusted in various ways. While the actual key cannot be adjusted, other levels can, such as the volume level, tempo, and click track. Also, the drums can easily be toggled on or off via the DRUM OFF key on the front of the module. Can I use my own pads with the Nitro module? While other standard or dual-zone single pads will likely work, the Nitro module is configured to respond optimally with the included drum kit. You could potentially use third-party standard triggers, however, since other manufactuirers design triggers specifically for different drum modules, not all triggers may respond as expected. Is the Hi-Hat pedal a continuous or a switch-type pedal? The Hi-Hat pedal included with the Nitro Kit is a continuous variable type pedal. This pedal allows for open, half-open, and closed hi-hat sounds, and will also allow for “chick” and “splash” sounds when the pedal is pressed down and released without striking the hi-hat cymbal pad. Alesis Recital 88-Key Beginner Digital Piano with Full-Size Semi-Weighted Keys and Included Power Supply

The Alesis Recital is a full-featured digital piano with the features to make it easy to learn, teach, and perform at any level. The 88 full-sized semi-weighted keys include adjustable sensitivity to fit your playing style, with built-in speakers and effects, so you're ready to start playing right out of the box. Recital includes a power adapter, so you can plug it into the wall and play all day, but it also can go mobile running on six of your own D cell batteries. Where the Recital really sets itself apart is with its teaching tools. In addition to Split mode for different keyboard voices on the left and right sides, a Lesson mode separates the keyboard into two areas with the same pitch and voice. That means a student can sit next to their teacher with both playing the same notes, for a simpler learning experience. But what about when an instructor isn't available? Recital is compatible with Skoove, an online piano-instruction service. Skoove listens to your performance to give real-time feedback, with adjustable tempo settings to match your skill level. Better yet, Recital isn't just compatible with the standard Skoove: it also comes with a free three-month subscription to Skoove Premium to unlock all of the lessons and songs. Finally, when you know you're a virtuoso, the Recital has a sustain pedal input, USB-MIDI connectivity, and RCA stereo output, so you can expand your keyboard's capabilities to meet your own. The Alesis Recital is everything you need to get from fumbling in your living room to finessing up on stage.   Frequently Asked Questions How many built in voices are included? The Recital features 5 realistic voices: Acoustic Piano Electric Piano Organ Synth Bass Can I split my keyboard with multiple voices? Customize the voices by combining any two at once in Layer Mode for a full, rich tone. They can also be assigned to only the left or right hands in Split Mode. You can even add adjustable Reverb and Chorus to further tailor your sound. Does this digital keyboard include education features? The Alesis Recital has a ""Lesson Mode"" feature which divides the 88 keys into two zones with the same pitch and voice. This gives the student and teacher the ability to easily watch each other and play together without having to take turns. What type of connections are included? In addition to the 1/4"" sustain pedal and headphone inputs, the Recital features stereo RCA outputs to connect to a recorder, mixer, amplifier or other sound system, as well as a USB-MIDI output for connecting to a computer and using educational software or virtual plugins.    Technical Specs Piano : 88 velocity-sensitive semi-weighted keys Adjustable Key sensitivity : low, medium, high Polyphony (max) : 128 Voices (Sounds) : 5 Preset Songs : 60 Demos : 2 Modes Standard: one voice for keyboard Layer: combine two voices Split: two areas with separate voices for left or right Lesson: two areas with same pitch and voice FX : Chorus, Reverb Metronome : 30-280 beats per minute Transpose : yes Built-in speaker power : 20 watts Connections (1) 1/4” headphone output (1) USB-MIDI output (1) RCA stereo output pair (1) 1/4” sustain pedal input Power : included power adapter for wall power; or (6) D cell batteries ( not included ) Dimensions (width x depth x height): 50.5” x 11.5” x 3.6” Weight : 15.7 lbs   Box Contents Recital digital piano 3-month Skoove Premium subscription code Music Rest Power Adapter User Guide Safety & Warranty Manual

Alesis V49 | 49-Key USB MIDI Keyboard & Drum Pad Controller (8 Pads / 4 Knobs / 4 Buttons)

The performance-oriented Alesis V49 offers expressive hands-on control for the software musician seeking an inexpensive, compact MIDI keyboard controller with expanded features. The new V series combines velocity-sensitive keys with eight drum/trigger pads, allowing virtual instruments to be played with dynamic expression. Cool blue LEDs illuminate the pads—as well as the four assignable knobs and buttons—for positive visibility. Musicians can make assignments quickly via the MIDI Learn feature. Octave shift keys provide access to the entire note range. A single USB cable provides both a power and data connection to nearly any computer. The V49 also comes with Software Preset/Parameter utility that makes setup a snap and includes free downloads for Ableton Live Lite 9 and Xpand!2 by AIR Music Tech.   Frequently Asked Questions   Does this unit need a power supply to work? These controllers are USB hub-powered and do not take an external power supply.     Do I need to install drivers for this to work on my PC/MAC? No, these controllers are class-compliant meaning that they are plug-and-play and do not require a specific driver download in order to function.  The V series controllers will function on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 as well as all Mac operating systems that are 10.4.11 and above.  Also, because they are class-compliant, they will continue to function as Windows and Apple come out with later updates and operating systems.   What are the programmable buttons for?  Use these buttons to send MIDI CC messages to your software. They can function as momentary or toggle (latching) buttons. You can also use the V Editor software to set each button to send program and change messages to your software. See the V Editor's User Guide to learn how to do this.   Does this have pre-programmed sounds? These controllers do not.  They are midi controllers and are meant to trigger software in your computer that has sounds built into them such as Ableton, Logic ect...   What kind of sustain pedals does this use? The V Series has a connection for a 1/4"" TS sustain pedal (Momentary non-latching footswitch). It would be helpful to have one that has a polarity switch on it in case you want to customize the way the pedal reacts when being pressed down or released.   Further Technical Support Whether you are a customer or dealer, if you already own a ION product, or if you just have pre-sales questions, the experienced ION technical support team is available to help!
